CALCULUS AND DEEP LOVE | 9.9.19

HELLO EVERYONE

i am deeply apologetic as I have spent my P day cooking and playing and conversing and have left little time to gaze into this glowing rectangle of mine.

Let us just say I saw the hand of the Lord each day this week, and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that God loves His children. I love being a missionary and I love you all.

Please enjoy the homemade edits I have composed.

Read Revelations 14: 6-7 and Isaiah 54:10  and tell me your thoughts!!!

How did God know I needed exactly what He is giving me right now?

with a large quantity of amor from Garland,

Hermana Rasmussen

so context for this subject line: We met an absolutely lovely woman named Estella on her porch the other day. Absolutely delightful company. She was mentioning how her son was "penoso" (really shy) and I related to her, saying that I used to be pretty shy when I was young, too. I told her: "Hermanan, no se preocupe, a lo mayoria es nada mas una etapa!" aka don't worry hermana, it's probably just a phase! at that exact moment y companion just goes "are you KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW" under her breath  haha so funny  we had a really sweet week!! I have been listening to the New Testament in the mornings in Spanish and it has been an extremely delightful experience (thanks dad for sending me a speaker and thanks Hermana Sagers for allowing me to be that guy)and I have realized how cool it is that the disciples of Jesus Christ had a lot of transformation to undergo during their journey of discipleship.... I think it's really sweet. Like a lot o...

I do not believe that this transfer is over!!! They are speeding up in a scary way FUN ITEMS - Mission conference on Saturday, it was extremely fun and spiritually filling experience. a really groovy (yet tricky) past 2 weeks over here in rad Rowlett, TX!!!! my new companion, Hermana Alam, is really rockin', she is teaching me to more Mexican in my humor aka teaching me how to not get offended when she brutally makes fun of me and just make fun of her back, it is a delicate art form and I intend on mastering this sassy humor of hers by the time I finish out my mission. Truly companions strengthen each other in the randomest ways. Honestly though Hermana Alam is such a light and I am so inspired by her passion for the work, and the richness and sincerity of her testimony!! I am grateful for her!! We are cruisin'! assorted highlights!!! -we ate a delicious seafood soup w veggies at a restaurant called La Fogata and Okay I LOVE MEXICAN SEAFOOD SOUP WHAT IT WAS DELICIOUS - Broke through a really hard rut!! I got slammed with mad discouragement and low self esteem the first bit of this transfer, and it almost knocked the breath out of me dang, like Satan ...
